The Stand's music is driving,dynamic,and blues based.The bands' originals were written by Rob Barry and Tom O'Day.Rob supplying the music and Tom writing the lyrics.The Stand produces a wide range of music from up tempo blues shuffles to slow melodic ballads.An album was released in 2003 and was recorded and produced by Glenn French.Glenn remembers,"My house was filled with chords,amps,drums,and microphones.With a limited budget we recorded on my reel to reel tape deck.We couldn't see the drummer because he was in the den next to us.He counted all the songs off with his sticks so it worked well.I overubbed bass and some acoustic guitar parts for the ballads.The analog recording came out surprisingly well."
